What we have all been waiting for

Er.. What we have all been waiting for.

Quote:
Movie to be made on life of Neelofar Bakhtiar

ISLAMABAD: A movie on the life of Federal Minister for Tourism Neelofar Bakhtiar would be made.

This was announced by Muhammad Ishfaq Chaudhary Chairman Pakistan Peoples Movement, a pro-Musharraf party.

He said that the services of a well-known writer has been hired for writing the story of the movie, adding that the search for the director of the movie is underway.

Watch out Shrek, here comes Aunti Bakhtiar.

Meanwhile, some guy (all right, all right, the famous singer
Abrar-ul-Haq, and not some guy) decides to sign "O Parveen, you are very salty", exclamation point. Parveen being a girl's name. Bad choice, he ought to have chosen khusboo. Anyhow, now that the song is a hit, women are hitting back with lawsuits, quitting schools and colleges en masse, and in general making it harder for parents to push them out the door, chaperon in tow, of course. So lets see what the courts have to say about the matter:

"This matter is very sensitive and such things cannot be allowed in Pakistani society," Mr Bhagwandas was quoted as saying by the AFP news agency. "Nobody can be allowed to hurt the sentiments of others," he said.

while the national assembly is considering stopping all work because:
The adjournment motion submitted by member MMA Farid Piracha opined that the singer by using the name of "Parveen" has disgraced and dishonored women of that name.
See, Khusboo would have been so much better. Better than the sad excuse:
But Mr Haq said the song did not use the name Parveen but Parmeen - which is not a recognised name in Pakistan. "It's a misunderstanding - the general public has misunderstood... it's not my fault," Mr Haq said.
