Went out with friends..

As you know, there is a special fall break from the usual academic persuits. Our masjid (Lal Masjid to you) is being renovated. Lalmullah, Mahdi-e-dra, and others are basking in the winter sun just south of the Musharraf gate. So I also took a break of neuj reporting to take in a day (and night) out on the town with friends. Hope you like the pictures.



We don't often go to the bazaar, so Farhan and her mother were really excited at the prospect of neu shooes.



Mohsin and his friends were also taking time off from their studies. They were so happy to see us.



Firdaus and Rahim staged an impromptu boxing match for us. We have high hopes for them in the Commonwealth games.


We saw some hot babes down the avenue. Pity I couldn't ask for any phone numbers on account of Farhan and her mother. Take that spring break freaks!


People were jostling to get this movie star's autograph. I am not much of a movies person.


On our way back, we came across these people praying. It was the perfect end to a relaxing day.
Even with classes suspended, we still have to prepare for the new session which will now be shorter. So there is a lot of work to be done. Still, I can't wait to take another evening off to see if I can catch those sorority sisters on the avenue again next time.
