NAWABSHAH, Nov 10: NWFP Governor Ali Mohammed Jan Aurakzai found the time for a hunting trip on Saturday and flew to Nawabshah especially for the purpose.
Wapda chairman Shakeel Ahmed Durrani accompanied the governor on the trip at the Pai Forest and Game Sanctuary near Sakrand.
Sources told Dawn that the two hunted around 59 partridges.

Daily surrender count..
Here are a few more to add to our daily friendship count. Major and Captain along with soldiers join Kabbal residents in revelries: Residents invited a major, a captain and five soldiers to a delayed iftar dinner in Kabbal tehsil on Saturday.
Resident commander Akbar Hussain, who is in charge of the tehsil, said the soldiers were traveling in an army vehicle when they were invited to rest, recreation, dinner and prayers at a resort near Kabbal. He said a major, a captain, two lance naiks and three sepoys had been taken hostage.
He said that the soldiers share secret files and maps marking residents positions and they had been taken to Imam Dheri, the headquarters of Maulana Fazalullah’s movement.
Of course, residents should be careful they can now be court-martialed.

Train track improvement
We hear friends taller than mountains, and deeper than seas will soon be sharing djinn levitation technology with us. So, train tracks are being prepared in advance.
Vacuum testing improves Quetta rail link
QUETTA, Nov 9: Rail link of Quetta with the rest of the country was suspended two times time today as the main tracks were improved up in Dashat area of Mastung district on Friday.
Police escorted a man who was injured while creating vacuums for improvement. The traffic had been restored at noon but it was again suspended seven hours later pending further improvements. Railway officials said the tracks need to be improved during the night .
Infrastructure improvements are part of Jeneral Musharaff's development plan for Baluchistan.
